I was never a good maker of TO-DO lists. What I love is TO-DONE lists.

What I wanted out of my gap year:

Travel to exotic places. No! Well. My friend Nicki and I went over to Japan in August but that was before my official gap year began. I planned on doing a TEFL course but...I am not cut out to be a teacher.

OK, I don't watch that much TV but the BBC are now cancelling dramas such as Larkrise to Candleford and The Royal in favour of reality TV. I mean, I really don't watch a lot of TV but SERIOUSLY? OK, I don't get it- the 3 year old girl in Nigeria who was kidnapped by rebels has been released. Isn't that fantastic! Yes, wonderful! It happened on the 9th July, but I actually had to go looking for news on her because I was so worried about her, and there had been zero news since the report of her kidnap. WTF?

Mistakenly, my Mum's just bought eggs from caged hens- she didn't read the label, so I don't blame her but it's too awful- I was driven to vegetarianism by one PETA video too many. I've been hugely attuned to it today as well since I vacuumed up a woodlouse and I'm sorry!
